The first episode of The Farm 2024 made me so DAMN frustrated

The first episode of The Farm 2024 made me so

This text is a column with opinions that are the writer’s own and not Nyheter24’s.

AS WE HAVE BEEN WAITING!

Farmen 2024 is here and already 10 minutes into the first episode, you can tell that this is going to be a real great season (and shit show). Applause to those who have cast the gang this year. Big applause.

Someone who you immediately know won’t take any crap is the hair specialist Jennifer Valencia. Ay ay ay here we have a lady who will make good television. However, there is something about her that also feels humble and kind so it will be exciting to see.

Another person I have to say stood out very quickly and shocked me a bit was the old blog queen Desiree “Dessie” Nilsson who today switched to brokers.

Dessie feels present, beautiful but still like a damn tough guy. I think at first glance she can go far in the competitions as long as she challenges the others in strength or technique. This as she herself admitted that she does not possess that much knowledge about farm life.

She also doesn’t seem to shy away from speaking her mind and standing her ground. Plus she does very funny syncs. Top addition in this season.

Someone I think will…. stir the pot periodically is the teacher Anna Billberg. You probably won’t change her opinion in the first place.

Anna also has a strong aura of… how shall I describe it, being someone who happens to walk into people. You know at Ica when you’re standing at a shelf and someone backs into you with a thump without you even noticing. Like motor skills, the wild west is a bit wild, but so is the mood.

Anna in a group together with a bunch of strangers who can behave a little anyway will also be incredible to follow this season.

But ok, now to the part that frustrates me the most.

These damn snorers.

The sick thing about snorers is that they NEVER ever step forward when you are in a group about to sleep together and you politely throw out the question “Does anyone here snore a lot?”. They stand quietly and stare until after about 15 seconds they say “sometimes when I have a cold”.

What then always happens is that they fall asleep first and sound like steam locomotives all damn night. Nobody dares to wake the person because it’s just mean.

The next day when you tell snorers that for 8 hours it sounded like when Germany tested the “blitzkrieg” tactic during an attack on Poland in 1939, they always answer the same thing.

NOTHING? They don’t think it’s something they can handle. SO ALSO ON THE FARM.

This year it is Per and Per who are destroying the sleep of almost the entire gang. And something I think is strange is that during no sequence in this episode did I hear any of the guys airing a suggestion about maybe switching places, sleeping in the same room or somehow finding a solution to keeping everyone awake in a program which is about having to engage in physical work for the rest of the day at all hours.

I would have had such a SCOTCHY BAD CONSCIENCE if I knew that people were staying up all night because of me. But don’t say no, snorers don’t feel that way.

One thing I want to be damn clear about is that I REALLY like Per and Per very much. Humble nice people.

But I get so incredibly frustrated that snorers in general never consider themselves the ones who should perhaps find a solution. But there must be a crisis meeting for the remaining people. And often it is the others who get to change rooms/places.

Just like when bully victims get to change schools and not the bully himself. Totally preoccupied if you ask me?

I’m incredibly excited for this season but what I’m almost most excited about is how the hell are they going to solve this snoring problem and who/who will have to switch rooms.
