While the first three Fear Street films were loosely based on RL Stine’s 50-volume young adult book series of the same name, Part 4 has a specific template: the Fear Street novel published in 1992 Murderous Dance: Death lurks behind the curtain.

Fear Street: The Prom Queen is a standalone film and is not intended to be directly connected to the story of the previous trilogy. The cast of the Netflix horror includes Ariana Greenblatt (Ahsoka), Lili Taylor (Conjurin), Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts) and Chris Klein (American Pie).

When does Fear Street 4 start on Netflix?

Since the fourth Fear Street part is still in the middle of filming, it is not yet possible to estimate when the horror film will appear on Netflix. The streamer has not yet revealed a start date.

Production is scheduled to be completed in May. With a bit of luck, Fear Street: The Prom Queen could arrive in time for Halloween Fall 2024 to be published. The first three Fear Street films debuted on Netflix in the summer.
