The club: Now the Sweden Democrats rule in Region Blekinge

The decision came after the Christian Democrats chose to leave the coalition with the Social Democrats and the Center Party. Something that aroused strong feelings in the previous board. During today’s debate, it was questioned on several occasions that the party’s group leader Deborah Lind was not present.

– Region Blekinge is in an incredibly difficult situation. It deserved a more stable government, said Christina Mattisson (S), outgoing regional councillor.

– I am acting group leader, and Deborah Lind has a regular job where she currently has compulsory education, and I think that should be respected, answered Anna Ekberg (KD).

The new board was voted through with 30 votes to 27.
