The Central African Republic and Rwanda multiply the signs of

President Faustin-Archange Touadéra traveled to Kigali and back on Thursday for talks with his counterpart Paul Kagame, while at the same time General James Kabarebe, one of the Rwandan president’s closest collaborators, began a visit three days in Bangui to meet the Rwandan troops deployed in the country. Rwanda has become the Central African Republic’s surest security partner, but this open proximity is a challenge as the country heads towards a constitutional referendum.
