Why was this trailer so exciting? The trailer was particularly impressive because of the idea behind the entire game. The mix of an old-school JRPG with the Junji Ito look is a refreshing and fantastic idea, especially for horror games.
Junji Ito is a Japanese manga artist known for his interesting style and horror manga. This means that his style and the horror genre of a game naturally fit together very well.
Were the expectations met? Through demos and the like, you could get a pretty good impression before buying the game and know what to expect. So you couldn’t really be disappointed.
A Metacritic score of 81 also suggests that the game was able to keep up with the trailer and first impression for most players.

Why was this trailer so exciting? Aside from the fact that the trailer gives a pretty good insight into the gameplay, this Soulslike MeinMMO author Linda Knabe was once again able to impress with its setting and concept in this trailer.
With the trailer, Enotria: The Last Song not only gives hope that it will be a good game, but its setting definitely stands out among some other games.
2023 was exactly the right year to come across a few interesting Soulslike games. Just this year she ventured into her first Souls game with Bloodborne and is now looking forward to experiencing the genre even more.
Were the expectations met? Whether Enotria: The Last Song can live up to the expectations it sets up remains to be seen. Because the game is not yet available. It is expected to appear in 2024.
