Suspect of devastating burglary at Spakenburg jeweler sentenced to prison

A 29-year-old Almerian who, together with a fellow resident, committed a brutal and professional burglary at a jeweler in Bunschoten-Spakenburg must return to prison. On April 10, the two caused enormous havoc at Juweliershuys Jansen in Spakenburg. The front door was destroyed with brute force and display cabinets inside were smashed to smithereens. They fled with 80,000 euros worth of jewelry, but were arrested a few streets away by quick police action.
