The football hero collapsed during a veterans match on the outskirts of Panama City. Luis Tejada was taken to hospital but his life could not be saved.
Tejada played over 100 international matches and with his 43 goals is Panama’s top scorer of all time. When Panama qualified for the World Cup for the first time in 2018, Tejada played an important role.
