Slovenian Primoz Roglic finds a smile on Tirreno-Adriatico

Slovenian Primoz Roglic wins the Tour of Spain at the end of the 18th and last stage, on November 8, 2020 in Madrid

Primoz Roglic won the fourth stage of Tirreno-Adriatico on Thursday March 9, the longest (218 km) of the seven stages of the event which stretches until Sunday, beating Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe in Tortoreto (Abruzzo). The 33-year-old Slovenian (Jumbo-Visma) thus signs a victory, the 66th of his career, his return to competition after his heavy fall on the Vuelta last September. Winner of the 2019 edition, Roglic is currently in second place in the general classification behind the German Lennard Kämna (Bora-Hansgrohe), 6 seconds behind.
