– Two men have been arrested, says police spokesperson Per Fahlström to TT.
Several people called the police just after midnight on Tuesday after hearing what they thought were gunshots.
When the police arrived at the area, they found shell casings on the ground, which reinforces the suspicion that shots have been fired.
No injured person has been found in connection with the alarm about the shooting.
There is no information yet that any homes have been hit by shots.
– We are investigating it but there is no information about it at the moment, says Per Fahlström just before 03.30 on Tuesday morning.
The police are also investigating whether the shooting may have any connection to other serious crimes that have recently been committed in the Stockholm area.
