The incident is classified as aggravated weapons offense and attempted murder. During the police’s closer investigation, traces were found that indicate that a shooting had taken place.
No injured person has been found, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The effort that was deployed during the evening included police patrols, helicopters and special search dogs, among other things.
– We have secured traces that point to a shooting, says Daniel Wikdahl and confirms that it could be traces such as empty shell casings.
The shooting occurred in the Älta center, which Wikdahl described as a typical suburban center with a mix of shops and homes.
