Fantasy reboot is still coming but several things are changing

By the beard of the Prophet, all that is sacred to us, and the power of Grayskull: the time has finally come. So maybe. A new Fantasy live-action film about He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was announced after several misfires.

Amazon MGM has now snapped up the Masters of the Universe film and is planning one, according to The Hollywood Reporter Cinema release next year. This time the story revolves around a ten-year-old Prince Adam, whose spaceship crash-lands on Earth. Included he loses his magic sword, which represents his connection to the homeland of Eternia. Two decades later, Adam is an adult and travels back to his home planet to face the evil forces of Skeletor. But first he must discover the secrets of his past and transform himself into the powerful He-Man.

Yes. According to Amazon MGM’s current plan, the new He-Man film with the Masters of the Universe is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2026 coming to US cinemas. After that it will probably come to Amazon Prime Video.
