iPhone users are warned: The alarm does not work

iPhone users are warned The alarm does not work

Iphone users should be vigilant. On Tiktok there are several people who set their alarm in the morning but never called when morning came.

This is reported by the British media channel BBC and American NBC in his program “Today show”.

Last reported a few days ago News24 about Apple warning iPhone users about one of their chargers. The charger can overheat and is therefore a safety risk. But now it seems that a particular function on the mobile phones is not working.

One clip in particular from Tiktok has gone viral. A woman says that she set “at least five alarms” on her mobile phone but that none of the alarms rang in the morning.

Apple has confirmed that there is a problem. However, it is still unclear what the cause is and how many iPhone users are affected. The company also has no tips on how to avoid oversleeping.

Apple is still working on the problem.

Several are now worried about accidentally oversleeping. On the Internet, iPhone users are encouraged to do what may seem the most obvious: Turn up the volume and review the mobile phone’s sound settings.

But theories also abound as to what could be causing the problem.

One theory is that the alarm is silenced when Face ID is activated, that is, the mobile turns off the alarm when the user’s face is recognized. For this to happen, the mobile’s camera must be aimed at the user when he is sleeping.

Another theory concerns only new versions of the iPhone such as the iPhone X. On these mobile phones there is something called “attention functions” that can automatically turn down the volume of an alarm that has been ringing for a long time.
