Senegalese fishermen arrested in Guinea a minister sent by Dakar

According to the Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “more than 300 fishermen” left “without authorization” in Guinean waters. The Dakar authorities were informed on May 26, 2022. They claim to do everything possible “to solve the problem”, with the ambassador on the spot. A mission by the Senegalese Minister of Fisheries, Alioune Ndoye, has been announced in Conakry, without a precise date for the moment.
