Senegal extraordinary session of the Assembly to examine the bills

In Senegal, the deputies are convened, from this Monday, July 17, for an extraordinary parliamentary session. Several bills will be examined to follow the recommendations of the national dialogue which ended at the end of June. The Constitution and the electoral code will be modified, with a direct impact on the presidential election of 2024: opponents Karim Wade and Khalifa Sall will regain their eligibility and the terms of sponsorship will be lightened.
