The Security Committee is a parliamentary committee, with representatives from all parties in the Riksdag, which was appointed in March 2020.
Now the former S-chairman Leif Jakobsson is being replaced by SD’s group leader in the Riksdag, Henrik Vinge. Vinge is leaving as group leader until further notice in order to have more time for preparation.
SD has previously been critical of the preparation’s work, describing it as fluff and wanting it to be scrapped. Now it will be a workshop, Vinge believes.
– Now it becomes clear what it should be about and the focus on delivering, he says.
All ongoing assignments are turned off to focus on relapse prevention work. In addition, the investigative assignment is shortened to twelve months and must be reported in April next year.
