SACE opens the new Business House in Belgrade strengthening its

(Finance) – SACE announces the opening of a new headquarters in Belgrade, at the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade. The CEO of SACE was present at the ceremony Alessandra Riccithe Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, the Italian Ambassador in Belgrade Luca Gorithe Serbian Minister of Trade Tomislav Momirovicthe President of the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce Annino De Venezia and the Chief International Business Officer of SACE Michael Ron.

The objective of the SACE headquarters in Belgrade is to support Made in Italy, supporting companies that already export in Serbia and the Balkans and providing companies that want to reach these markets with all the tools, experience and skills of SACE on foreign markets.

SACE, insurance-financial group Italian specialized in business support in Italy and around the world, with the opening of the new headquarters in Belgrade, thus strengthens its office network in the world, which goes hand in hand with the widespread presence on the national territory.

There Serbia represents a important destination for Italian exports and a point of reference for Italian companies operating in the Balkans. The commercial exchanges between the two countries have exceeded 4.1 billion of euros especially in sectors such as energy transition, infrastructure and agritech. Sectors that have also been at the center of the Business & Science Forum Italy – Serbia carried out last March, which counted on the participation of over 150 Italian companies and more than 250 Serbian companies and during which more than 450 B2B meetings were organized and 13 agreements signed.

“The opening of the new SACE office is the result of the Group’s constant commitment, in line with our mission, to accompany companies that want to take the path of internationalization and access new markets. We do this through a network of relationships, knowledge and insurance-financial tools and thanks to an international network which from today is enriched by the new headquarters in Belgrade”, declared Alessandra RicciCEO of SACE.

“Serbia represents a priority of the Italian Government, not only for its important economic-commercial interests”, declared the Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Ursoadding “Italian companies are doing very well in this lively and young entrepreneurial fabric: beyond 1,200 national companies or with an Italian participation fee, which they give direct employment for 34,300 people, without counting the related activities. Italy in this country means 4.5% of GDPthe second investor after Germany in terms of number and value of projects”.

“As announced by the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, Italy’s objective is to renew our entrepreneurial presence in Serbia, focusing on innovative sectors with high technological content and equipping ourselves with adequate financial instruments With the opening of the SACE desk, the Italian system in Serbia will be able to count on a new actor who will contribute to giving further impetus to the economic partnership between Rome and Belgrade”, declared the Italian Ambassador to Serbia Luca Gori.

“The arrival of SACE in Serbia is welcomed with great enthusiasm, as we are convinced that it will significantly contribute to strengthening trade relations between the two countries and promoting further initiatives for economic growth. The presence of Italian companies in Serbia is already an important pillar , but there is still vast potential for development”, declared the President of the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce Annino De Venezia.
