Two people were at home at the time of the fire but were able to escape, fire officials said.
One of the home’s occupants was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, fire officials added.
While city firefighters are still investigating the cause of the blaze, officials pegged the damage at roughly $250,000.
