Investigators have identified an individual found deceased on Six Nations of the Grand River earlier this month.

Ontario Provincial Police, who are assistance Six Nations Police in the investigationsay they are not releasing the name of the individual – a 32-year-old Ohsweken resident – to maintain the integrity of the investigation.

The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch is continuing to investigate after a body was discovered just after 5 pm on April 12 on 2n/a Line near Chiefswood Road on Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation.
The OPP Forensic Identification Services, Office of the Chief Coroner, and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are also assistance with the investigation.
Anyone with information, dashcam or surveillance video of the area that may assist investigators are asked to contact Six Nations Police at 519-445-2811.
