The actor and the writer Ellen Bergström, 34, was going to write a book about her addiction to alcohol. But it never became a book. IN Renée Nyberg’s interview program Renée’s bridge on TV4, Ellen Bergström talks about the turn her sobriety took.

– I started to believe that I could drink. So I called (the publisher, editor’s note) and said “no, there won’t be a book because I’ve been sober for five years, so I think I can handle this”, says Ellen.

Ellen says that after several years of sobriety, she started by drinking a glass. It went well, and she felt she didn’t want to drink anymore. She thought. Because over time she began to increase the amount. From a small glass to two glasses. She then tried to decide how much to drink.

– Oh, yes, it’s tough, says Dan Ekborg.

– So it was really hard to get here today. I have been so embarrassed, Ellen Bergström tells the program.

Ellen Bergström later states that she cannot drink alcohol anymore because she has no control over it and simply does not feel well from alcohol.
