Provinces: fall of cabinet creates more uncertainties

Utrecht – The fall of the cabinet has caused additional “and undesirable” uncertainties for the provinces in the Netherlands, reports Interprovinciaal Overleg (IPO), the umbrella organization of the twelve provinces. “We are facing major social challenges, such as the housing task, the transition of the rural area and the energy transition. While these tasks require clear choices and determination, we are now entering a period of increasing uncertainty.”
