Prime Gaming is now giving you regular items for Pokémon GO again

What gifts are you talking about? Pokémon GO and Amazon Prime Gaming already had a collaboration lasting several months in 2022 and in this way have regularly provided Prime Gaming users with free items for Pokémon GO.

As Niantic announced on Twitter on the evening of June 20, 2023, there will again be such a collaboration between the game developer and Amazon Prime Gaming in 2023.

You will now receive these 4 items in the first bundle

When are the packages available? The first bundle was already published with the announcement of the collaboration and can be accessed at Prime Gaming. After that, more gifts will follow on a monthly basis on Prime Gaming.

What’s in the first bundle: The first gift has already been activated and includes the following 4 items:

  • 2 golden raspberries
  • 2 mysterious parts

    • These are items that are currently perfect for use during the Rocket Takeover and Day and Night events. So you need mysterious parts to assemble a rocket radar and eventually track down the bosses of Team GO Rocket. Legendary monsters in particular are easier to catch with the help of the golden raspberries.

    How can I pick up the items?

    Who can get the gifts? To secure the gifts, you must have an account with Prime Gaming, i.e. be a Prime member on Amazon. If you don’t have a Prime membership yet, you can alternatively test it for 30 days. Unfortunately, trainers without such a membership do not have access to the gifts.

    How do I get the promo code? In order to get the gifts in the game, you must first have a corresponding promo code generated by Amazon Prime Gaming. This is how it works:

  • Open the Prime Gaming page and select Pokémon GO from there
  • Log in with your Amazon access data
  • The corresponding bundle will now be displayed to you
  • Now click the Get In-Game Content button
  • You will now see a corresponding code that you copy
  • Then open the Niantic Rewards website
  • Sign in here with your Pokémon GO credentials
  • The copied promo code can then be pasted

    • The items will now be credited to you in Pokémon GO. You can see in your diary entry in the game whether the credit was successful.

    Easier variant for Android users: Those using an Android device can save themselves the trip to the rewards page and instead enter the code directly in the game. In this case, simply switch to the game after copying the promo code and open the in-game shop. Now scroll down and enter your code in the corresponding field.

    How long do you have for pick-up? The current bundle is active for a total of 30 days. So you can still pick it up on the Prime Gaming website until July 20, 2023. Your generated promo code can be redeemed once.

    Based on the experiences from last year, it can be assumed that the next gift bundle will then be activated directly afterwards.
