Pelin Ölüç, a graduate of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, released her first single album, ‘Deserts’.
Coming from a musical education and leaving behind many successes in the sense of Opera; In this context, the young musician who completed MSGSÜ Istanbul State Conservatory Opera department as the top student and continues to take part in many opera works. Pelinhis first single with an alternative sound and in English, “deserts” brought together with the audience.
Pelin’s DESERTS Album is on Broadcast Platforms
Duran Tokluca undertook the mixing-mastering and producer partnership of the single, whose lyrics, music and arrangement were written by Pelin (Pelin Ölüç).
Pelin describes her first single “Deserts” with the following words:
“Deserts is a song however you want to see it. Love, friendship, existence, faith… The inspiration for the song is from Paulo Coelho’s book The Alchemist. I wanted to look at Santiago’s never-losing hope and trust from a different perspective. As someone who completed his education in classical music As an artist, trying to embody what I heard in my head while learning production was a process in which I challenged myself. The composition generally describes a journey with both words and music. Transitions of emotions, breaks and beginnings. When it’s over, you complete your journey. Writing English songs in Turkey “It may be a risk, but I think I can express myself better in this language.”
