SMHI issues a yellow warning for sudden ice slippage in Svealand and southern Norrland during Saturday and in the northern area until Sunday afternoon.
– There will be both rain and snowfall. You should be careful on the roads, says Max Schildt, meteorologist at SMHI.
At the same time, yellow and orange warnings for strong wind in combination with snowfall have been issued for parts of Norrland’s coastal region up to the Umeå region.
The orange warning applies to the coastal strip Härnösand-Örnsköldsvik until Monday. 20-45 centimeters of snow is expected to fall starting tonight.
