Gert Dijkstra (EenUtrecht) also indicated a direction that he believes the municipality should take. “This way you can halve the improvement of the wharf cellars, from 17 million euros annually to 8 million euros,” he suggested. “Not replacing eight kilometers of sewer, but four kilometers, for example.” He also wants to spend less money on replacing swimming pools, abolish tourist city promotion and not do some mobility projects.
