The police were alerted to an address at 06.30 on Sunday about a possible shooting but then only wanted to confirm that it was a serious crime.
How serious the person’s injuries are is unclear, according to the radio.
The police have set up roadblocks, carried out a technical investigation and knocked on doors in the area.
