An 18-year-old man has been injured in a suspected shooting in Norrköping.
– We have received several calls about explosions, says Linus Maxe, commanding officer at the police.
The first reports of gunfire came in to the police at 8 p.m.
– The police can establish that one person has been injured. An ambulance is there and life-saving measures are underway, says Linus Maxe to TV4 Nyheterna.
The man was found outdoors in the particularly vulnerable area of Navestad in Norrköping. It is unclear how injured he is.
The legal situation is attempted murder, the police announce on their website.
“Police are working intensively to find the perpetrator or perpetrators who did this. Information gathering, interviews with witnesses and checks of cameras are ongoing.”
At the moment, the police cannot comment on whether there is any connection between the shooting and the dangerous object that was found in central Norrköping earlier today.
