President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with Somali President Hasan Şeyh Mahmud. During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that Turkey stands by Somalia in its fight against terrorism and that the cooperation between the two countries will continue increasingly.
During the meeting, Turkey-Somalia relations, the fight against terrorism, global and regional issues were discussed. President Erdoğan also stated that the tension between Somalia and Ethiopia should end on the basis of Somalia’s territorial integrity.

On the other hand, President Erdoğan also met with Ukrainian President Zelenskiy. At the meeting, regional and global issues, especially the Ukraine-Russia war, were discussed.
