The nurse strangled an assistant nurse. Now the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo) has decided to withdraw the nurse’s professional identification, reports Skånska Dagbladet.

According to the male nurse, the female assistant nurse had tried to prevent him from using a medicine cart, causing him to become angry. There was a fight with both pushing and wrestling on the expedition and in addition the nurse during the work shift grabbed the assistant nurse by the neck and pushed.

The nurse was charged with two counts of assault against the colleague and was sentenced to community service. Now the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo) has decided to withdraw his professional identification. Ivo believes that through the crimes, the man “abused the trust that the public has the right to place in a licensed healthcare professional”.
