Kim Jong-Un continued his Russia trip with a trip to a military airbase near Vladivostok in eastern Russia on Saturday, according to state-run Russian media.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu showed around among the bombers that are said to be part of Russia’s strategic nuclear forces, state-run Tass writes.
Kim then visited the Pacific Fleet base in Vladivostok where he was allowed to board a Russian warship.
Visited spaceport
The North Korean dictator’s trip in eastern Russia began on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Kim met Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny spaceport, and on Friday he visited a factory that manufactures combat planes in Komsomolsk, Russia.
The US has warned that the lavish reception Kim is receiving in Russia signals potential agreements that, for example, North Korea could supply Russia with ammunition to use in the war of aggression against Ukraine. There is widespread concern in South Korea that North Korea would receive advanced weapons technology in exchange.
Denies agreement
The Russian powerhouse, the Kremlin in Moscow, assured on Friday that no agreements have been reached and denied reports of an agreement.
When Kim met Putin this week, the Russian leader promised he can help North Korea build satellites, according to official state media reports.
Kim Jong-Un responded that North Korea offers its “full and unconditional support” for Russia’s “holy struggle” to defend its security interests. The statement is seen as a reference to the war in Ukraine.
