However, Dreamhack Summer 2024 will be arranged in Jönköping on June 14-16.
Next year, Dreamhack will be 30 years old and started as a LAN festival in the 1990s. For 22 years, the festival has had its two biggest festivals every year in Jönköping.
Now the organizer chooses to place one of the festivals at the Stockholm Fair next autumn.
– Taking Dreamhack to Stockholm is special for me personally. Gaming belongs in Stockholm and we want to contribute to and develop the unique culture that makes the gaming world in the city so special, says Shahin Zarrabi, VP of Festivals at ESL FACEIT Group in a press release.
