Pain Hustlers can’t go wrong on paper. The Netflix film stars Oppenheimer star Emily Blunt and Captain America hero Chris Evans in a story about pharmaceutical companies, drugs and massive conspiracies.

David Yates (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) was in the director’s chair. The most amazing thing about the film, however, is its true story. Now there is the first trailer.

Pain Hustlers revolves around single mother Liza Drake (Blunt), who has no prior experience an entrepreneur’s pharmaceutical company (Evans) to great success. Her most successful recipe is on paper intended to help patients with terminal cancer. And extremely addictive.

Yates’ film is based on the true story of the company Insys, which quickly made enormous profits with its drug Subsys. Insys used doctors in a criminal way as draft horses and falsified his documents on clients, as Collider describes. Subsys contained the active substance fentanyl, one of the most dangerous active ingredients in the opioid crisis that has been going on in the USA for 30 years and has claimed the lives of many people.

When is Pain Hustlers coming to Netflix?
