Navy Caiman Race challenge between sport and courage in the

(Finance) – It starts on September 30th Navy Caiman Race. On Saturday and Sunday the competition, which will take place in the evocative context of Portovenere, will involve athletes and veterans of the Italian Navy, united by a passion for the sea and extreme sport. It is a high-level obstacle sports event resulting from a synergy between theNational Endas, chaired by Paolo Serapiglia and committed to spreading the culture of sport among citizens, and the “Teseo Tesei” Divers and Raiders Group Command – Com.sub.in, elite department of Italian navy composed of selected divers and raiders. Thanks to the contribution of this unit, an obstacle course has been designed that will test the physical preparation and determination of the participants. The event is presented in collaboration with the municipality of Portovenere (SP).

The competition is divided into two distinct formats: “La Super” and “La Sprint”, 14 km and 5 km respectively, both with military obstacles. Each format is made up of three heats: “Elite”, “Age Group” and “Open”, offering participants different opportunities for challenge and competition. There will be prizes for the top three female and male athletes in each of the top two categories, while all other participants will receive “Finisher” medals.

The 1st October will be dedicated entirely to children, who will be able to participate in various disciplines such as Judo, Dance, a special “Pompieropoli” route organized by the Fire Brigade Command and underwater activities with the Com.sub.in instructors.

The Navy Caiman Race’s goal is also to open the door to possible military careers for those who might be inspired by the event.
