Musikhjälpen enters the final sprint: “Växjö has delivered”

At 20.00 on Sunday, the presenters leave the cage and this year’s Musikhjälpen is over.

Växjö is the smallest city, in terms of the number of inhabitants, that has hosted Musikhjälpen, but this has not been noticed, says Karl-Johan Paulsson, project manager for Musikhjälpen:

– The commitment is super important, it is what builds the entire program. And I would say that Växjö delivered point after point, he says.

The record: 74 million

Last year, in Gothenburg, SEK 54.5 million was collected during the Musikhjälpen week. The record, however, stands at SEK 74 million, which was collected in 2017 when the program was broadcast from Umeå.

The amount of money raised during the week is revealed on Sunday evening.
