Mortal Kombat 1 finally announced

Mortal Kombat 1, teased by Ed Boon for a while, has finally been announced and the game’s cinematic trailer has been released.

The Mortal Kombat 1 announcement was officially announced after the successive rumors and tips from the famous producer Ed Boon. The game, which was announced with a cinematic trailer, will rewind the story as expected.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in September

The Mortal Kombat 1 release date, made by NetherRealm Studios led by Ed Boon, has also been shared. Accordingly, the game will arrive on September 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC. Although no details have been given yet, we guess that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will probably be played over the cloud.

“Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest game in the critically acclaimed Mortal Kombat video game series developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios.” statements were included.

“The game will introduce a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by Liu Kang, the God of Fire, and will feature reimagined versions of iconic characters like never before seen, along with a new combat system, game modes, bone-crunching finishing moves, and more.”

Along with the announcement of the game, of course, explanations were made about different versions. Players who pre-order the Premium Edition, priced at $109.99, include the Kombat Pack, which includes the Jean-Claude Van Damme-inspired Johnny Cage costume, worth 1,250 Dragon Crystals (in-game currency), early access to six new playable characters, and five new Cameo Fighters. They will get early access to the game starting September 14th.

In the $249.99 Collector’s Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series only, they’ll get all these content, plus a 16.5-inch Liu Kang statue, three special art editions, a steel case design, and 1,450 Dragon Crystals. A beta version will also be released for PS5 and Xbox Series users who pre-order any version of the game.
