“We have expanded the target group ourselves, because we see that this support is very welcome,” says spokesperson Odette Exel. By collaborating with social organizations, such as Kwadraad and the Library, the municipality receives signals from people who indicate that they are having difficulty making ends meet. “We therefore hope that many people will now find their way,” Exel explains. “People don’t always realize that they are entitled to it.”
