Early investigation important
In Sweden, around 150,000 people are estimated to have dementia, but according to the National Board of Health and Welfare, more and more people are becoming ill.
– By 2050, it is expected that this number will almost double, says Frida Nobel, medical advisor at the National Board of Health and Welfare, who points to the importance of getting an investigation as early as possible in case of symptoms of dementia.
