The EPA drum queen Miss Snusk was a success with her entry “Young & free” in Melodifestivalen’s second competition in Gothenburg. Tonight she is back to take a final place in the new “final qualifier”.

Fröken Snusk’s time in Melodifestivalen has been stormy to say the least. In the second part of the competition in Gothenburg, she had problems with her voice and was forced to cancel several interviews.
According to her team, during the general rep in the same competition, she was also sexually assaulted by a man who sat next to her at the artist presentation. The man did not belong to Miss Snusk’s team.
“We were, as you can understand, extremely upset. SVT immediately took this very seriously,” Ms. Snusk’s press person Jessica W Sandberg wrote in a text message to SVT Nyheter at the time.
Miss Snusk says that the incident was very unpleasant, but that she now tries to shut out the feelings during the time she participates in Melodifestivalen – and focuses on the positive.
– I want to spread joy, and I’m here for all the fans. But on the side, I have taken professional help, she says.

There could be a fight for the EPA dunk fans in tonight’s final qualifier when Miss Snusk meets Gunilla Persson, who has also become a favorite within the genre.
Yesterday, Gunilla Persson surprised with a stroke at a gas station in Karlstad where the fifth part of the competition is held.
– I’ve been right all along – she’s a “slut”, says Miss Snusk about her rival.
