Launched a little over three years ago, the Your Phone application is changing its name. Microsoft has indeed wanted to rename the name of its utility in Mobile connected on Windows, and Link with Windows for the companion application on Android, a name that is clearer as to the features offered by the program.
As a reminder, Connected Mobile allows you to connect an Android smartphone to Windows in order to use it and access its content from your PC without having to take it in hand. The application therefore allows you to send and receive calls or SMS from your computer, to access the photos and videos contained in the camera roll of the terminal or to consult the notifications received on the smartphone from the PC to which it is is linked.
To celebrate this baptism, Microsoft has just updated its tool so that it adopts the graphic codes specific to Windows 11. Connected mobile adopts rounded corners, new illustrations and inaugurates more modern icons which allow it to be in perfect compatibility with the new Microsoft OS.
This development also reveals a new stage for the Microsoft application. The Redmond company, which has already entered into a partnership with Samsung to offer exclusive features to owners of smartphones from the Korean manufacturer, has just announced its availability on the Chinese market. Microsoft has thus approached Honor to offer Honor Magic V, Magic 4 and Magic 3 smartphone users specific features for their device.
