MASK SINGER 2022. After a long wait, season 3 of Mask Singer will finally arrive at the beginning of 2022. Here is what you need to know about this new edition.
[Mis à jour le 8 mars 2022 à 15h40] Launched with resounding success at the end of 2019, Mask Singer had a season 2 at the end of 2020 and we were impatiently awaiting the announcement of a season 3 which was long overdue. While we hoped to be able to discover a new edition at the end of 2021, the months passed without news from TF1. Finally, the program carried by Camille Combal will return from April 1, 2022 in prime time on the first channel in France.
In a press release, TF1 also promises that there will be 12 costumed characters to unmask during this season. A total of 12 personalities to discover under the masks of the Chameleon, the Banana, the Pig, the Cosmonaut or even the Tree. At the moment, there are obviously no rumors yet as to the personalities hidden behind these costumes. However, we already have some leads as to their potential professions: “actors, animators, sportsmen, journalists, singers, comedians or politicians” promises TF1. The press release also announces that two international stars will be in the cast of Mask Singer season 3 and “will perform exceptionally, out of competition” during different episodes this season. These stars will appear in costume and will be unmasked the same evening.
As for the star investigators, the cast has not changed. We will always find Kev Adams, but also Alessandra Sublet, Anggun or even Jarry. Camille Combal, the new face of TF1 for several years, is once again hosting this third season of Mask Singer, which we can therefore discover on TF1 every Friday from April 1.
