A man in his 20s has been sentenced for preparation for murder and unlawful persecution of a student at a high school in Örebro County, reports SVT News.
During the end of Christmas last year, the man entered the school with the aim of murdering a student. He was then armed with a knife.
However, the police were able to arrest the man at the scene.
According to SVT, the student had been threatened with death by the now convicted man on social media for a year.
On Monday, he was sentenced to forensic psychiatric care with a special discharge examination at Örebro district court. In addition, he must also pay SEK 125,000 in damages to the plaintiff.
