The imposing column of the Malian army which left Gao on Monday October 2 in the morning is now at Tarkint, still in the Gao region, on the road which leads to Anefis and Kidal. Its final destination remains secret. The Malian transitional authorities say they are in “reconquest” while the armed groups of the Permanent Strategic Framework (CSP) receive reinforcements from neighboring Niger.
