After 607 days, Linn Svahn was finally back on the ski trail after her injury.
And the weekend in Idre was special in several ways – when sister Alva was also in the competition.
Now Linn Svahn reveals the big dream that the two sisters have together.
The lingering injury lasted Lynn Svahn away for 607 long days, but finally she is back in the competition again. The comeback in Idre was painless for the 23-year-old, who seems to be over his shoulder injury once and for all.

And it was a relieved Linn Svahn who, of course, was happy about his comeback.
– It is impressive to see what you can do with sheer will and love for something. I really love skiing, I love all of skiing and the drive I have because it has made it possible to stand on the starting line again, she tells Aftonbladet.

The comeback was also special for another reason. It was the first time as a 17-year-old sister Alva Svahn she was also in the competition at the same time as her older sister.
– It’s crazy fun. It is the brother (Leo) who is closer to me in age and we have been to competitions together, but the sister and I have never been, says Linn Svahn.

“The goal is to…”
And Linn Svahn also reveals that the two sisters have a dream together, to stand at the top of the podium during the WC in Falun 2027.
– I have said that the goal is for us to be able to run a team sprint together at a championship. I have told Alva; In 2027, it will explode. She has to start accelerating so we have time for it when I’m at the end of my career. She is a second-year junior now.

Alva Svahn competed in the junior class over the weekend in Idre, where she finished in 24th place twice again in the distance races. Previously, she also came in eleventh place in Bruksvallarna with both Swedish and Norwegian competition.
