Chamber of Commerce after Kalla fakta’s grant review: No evidence of cheating

today at 11.27 Nelly Kronstrand

In the final sprint of the 2022 election campaign, TV4’s Kalla fakta was able to reveal that five of the Riksdag’s parties considered circumventing the law on party financing. Including the Moderates, the Sweden Democrats, the Christian Democrats, the Social Democrats and its youth union SSU and the Liberals.

The Chamber of Deputies, which handles the party contributions, began after the disclosure and several reports, an examination of the five parties’ dealings.

Now the authority has decided to write off all cases.

“There is no concrete information in the program that any party violated the provisions of the Transparency Act. No such information has come to our attention either. The Kammarkollegiet therefore assesses that there is no reason to take further measures,” says Gunnar Larsson, director general of the Kammarkollegiet, in a press release, TT reports.
