94-year-old Jean-Marie Le Pen has been hospitalized, according to information to French media, including the political weekly magazine Le Point.
According to the information, it may be a matter of heart problems and his relatives are also in the hospital.
Jean-Marie Le Pen is a French politician who until 2011 was the party leader of the Front National (National Gathering), which he also founded in 1972. The party has historically had great influence on the far-right milieu in Europe, including Sweden and the Sweden Democrats, according to Expo.
In 2015, Jean-Marie Le Pen was expelled from the party after speaking disparagingly about the gas chambers during the World War. He has also been convicted of belittling the Holocaust.

A 13-year-old girl has gone missing in Denmark. The girl, named Filippa, was going to hand out newspapers around the small village of Kirkerup, southeast of Slagelse, when she disappeared without a trace.
Her bike, bag and phone were found in a ditch in the search area.
The police are currently searching with a large effort. Several patrols and a helicopter are participating in the search.
They have now released a picture of Filippa and are urging the public and residents in the area in question to get in touch if they have any information about where she might be.
Fire after grilling
A fire has broken out on Ekerö in connection with grilling. After a gas grill at a villa in Älvnäs, the grill started to burn and the fire spread to the house facade.

Boys in their 10s threatened with gun-like objects

Volker Perthes, the UN’s special envoy in Sudan, strongly condemns the violence in the country, writes AFP.
He calls on both sides to immediately stop fighting to “guarantee the security of the Sudanese people”.
According to the news agency, three civilians have been killed in the fighting.

Man dead after truck crash
A 65-year-old man has died as a result of the serious traffic accident that occurred last Friday at 11 a.m. in Kvibille, reports SVT News Halland.

Both drivers were taken to hospital by ambulance.
