Hornbill cranes receive earlier protection

today at 04.19 Johan Edgar

The County Administrative Board for Västra Götaland has decided to advance the bird protection around Hornborgasjön by almost three weeks.

The reason is that the migratory birds come back to Sweden earlier and earlier as the climate gets warmer.

The decision means that the bird protection in the southern part of the nature reserve starts to apply as early as March 1. Previously, the bird protection at the lake only started to apply on March 20. (TT)

Hi Kerstin! Although it may be some time before the proposal becomes a reality, it is reasonable to report that it is on the table. The question of A-tractors engages many people, so suggestions in the area we consider to be of interest to our readers.

  • Read about the problem of access to vegetables in England. Have UK imports and exports changed significantly due to Brexit?

    Elin

    Hi Elin!

The Guardian has previously reported that exports to the EU decreased by 14 percent after Brexit.

In the case of the availability of vegetables, several British media reports that Brexit seems to have a rather small impact. The main reasons are believed to be problems linked to supplies and the somewhat isolated location of the UK. As well as the high electricity prices that affect domestic production.
