Las Palmas will once again have a womens section

The maximum yellow president, Miguel Ángel Ramírez, declared in the presentation of Las Palma i+i, which participates this coming weekend in the Genuine League phase, that the entity he presides over will once again have a women’s team. “We were one of the first in professional football to take on this project. The experience then was not as optimal as we would have wanted. But obviously we have to get that section back.”

As for the first team, Ramírez continues with the low profile that the first team has also adopted, commenting that the most important game “was against Leganés. Then it will be Ponferrada, the next and the next. All the games are important and we just have to look day by day.”

He also wanted to value the work of the quarry, noting that against Leganés “eight or nine homegrown players participate per game”. And with them “we are going to try to reach the highest possible this season”.
