Konami files trademark for new Silent Hill movie

Konami has applied for a trademark for the new Silent Hill movie, which we expect and wonder more and more as the rumors spread.

At Konami’s Japanese trademark office new Silent Hill movie filing for a new trademark for Sony has further fueled rumors about a sequel produced by Sony.

New Silent Hill movie coming?

The new Silent Hill movie trademark has reignited rumors of a possible Sony-produced sequel. Konami’s latest Silent Hill trademark was published on the JPO database today and includes many use cases such as video games, commercial gaming machines/machine equipment, gaming software and virtual reality headsets.

Recent reports suggest that Sony has purchased the rights to a major video game franchise. Old reports from 2020-2021 showed that Sony was producing a new Silent Hill game and Hideo Kojima was probably involved.

Konami, developer of Layers of Fear Bloober Team has officially confirmed that he is working on a new horror game believed to be Silent Hill.

The publisher has not officially announced any new Silent Hill movie projects yet.
