Fifth issue since the In and Off Festivals of Avignon. For this last meeting of the year, the Russian filmmaker and director Kirill Serebrennikov comes to present his adaptation of Anton Tcheckov’s book “The Black Monk”. Justine Heynemann and Éléonore Arnaud for Cookie Mueller’s piece “Crossing a swimming pool painted black in clear water”.

The three guests of this fifth VMDN program at the Festival d’Avignon are:

  • The Russian director and director in exile Kirill Serebrennikov for his adaptation of the book “Le moine noir” by Anton Chekhov, which he staged at the Cour d’Honneur of the Palais des Papes at the Festival In d’Avignon with the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. A spectacular staging in German, Russian and English with surtitles is still on view until tomorrow, Saturday July 16.

  • The director Justine Heynemann and the actress Eleanor Arnaud “Crossing in clear water a swimming pool painted black” according to Cookie Mueller to be seen at the blue train theater as part of the Festival Off d’Avignon.

Reportage : Fanny Bleichner went to see “Les voix duverb” a show of poetry, song and slam to be seen at the Chapelle des Antonins until July 30th.
