Kavian organizes a month-long Christmas table for the homeless

– I want it to last for 33 days, so that many homeless people have the opportunity to eat Christmas food, says Kavian Ferdowsi.

It’s the first Advent and outside the Central Station in Stockholm, homeless people are queuing to get a ticket to the Homeless Christmas party, which has been set up at Urban Deli. Mikael is one of the volunteers helping today. He has lived as a homeless person for 14 years and is looking forward to eating the Christmas food.

– I like ham, meatballs and sausages, he says.
