There is the limited-time Highlighted Resonator Summon and the standard Resonator Summon. The latter is available permanently.

However, you can also get some characters in Wuthering Waves for free by playing the story or completing certain events.
You get a total of six different characters for free. Here you can find an overview of which characters they are and how you get them.
1. Rover
How do you get the Rover? You will receive the Rover automatically at the start of Wuthering Waves. You can choose between a female and a male character.
2. Yangyang
How to get Yangyang? You will receive Yangyang as a free character during the main story.
3. Chixia
How do you get Chixia? You will receive Chixia as a free character during the main story.
4. Baizhi
How to get Baizhi? You are guaranteed to get Baizhi in the Gacha system tutorial.
5. Sanhua
How do you get Sanhua? You can get Sanhua through the “Gifts of the Thawing Frost” event. To receive it, you must log in to the game for five days. The event is permanently available in the game.
6. Yuanwu
How to get Yuanwu? You can get Yuanwu through the Rumbling Caves event. To get it, complete the challenge in the stable area in the Tower of Adversity. The event is permanently available in the game.
